FOUNDER OF SKN DERMATOLOGY
Dr. Samantha Ghiselli is passionate about dermatology and is known for taking excellent care of her patients. She prides herself on taking care of the whole person, really listening to her patients needs and addressing all of their concerns.
Dr. Ghiselli is double board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and specializes in medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology, including Mohs micrographic surgery.
She co-founded Pure Dermatology Denver in 2018, after practicing dermatology in both California and Colorado since 2006. Upon moving to Colorado in 2012 Dr. Ghiselli joined Denver Dermatology Consultants that was later acquired by a large private equity group. Dr. Ghiselli left this group to start Pure Dermatology because she did not like the large corporate environment and wanted to provide more personalized patient care to her patients. Pure Dermatology was established as a boutique dermatology practice that has grown tremendously over the years and gained a reputation of taking excellent care of their patients.
Effective August 2024 Dr. Ghiselli sold Pure Dermatology in order to launch SKN Dermatology. SKN Dermatology will look and feel much like the old dermatology office because it is the same office, same location, and same staff- we just changed the name! There will be some exciting changes that are targeted to improve the service and experience for our patients one of which is the addition of Dr. Lisa Blackwood.
Dr. Ghiselli was born in South Africa and moved to Southern California at the age of ten. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Southern California and her M.D. from University of California, Irvine, where she graduated first in her medical school class. Dr. Ghiselli completed her internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, and her dermatology residency at the University of California, Irvine in 2006. She practiced dermatology in Southern California for six years and moved to Denver, Colorado in 2012.
Dr. Ghiselli is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery and Colorado Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Ghiselli is known to have excellent bedside manner and be very charismatic towards her patients. She loves taking care of patients of all ages and can really relate to young children, elderly patients and everyone in between. She is passionate about dermatology, helping her patients and building amazing relationships over the years. She loves her profession because of the ways she can improve the lives of others.
Dr. Ghiselli is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery and Colorado Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Ghiselli lives an active lifestyle including running, skiing, swimming and traveling. She spends most of her spare time enjoying her husband and three children.
